Special Education Essentials Series: IEP: Parent Participation and Consent - via zoom

Presented by Parents Helping Parents (PHP)

Are you a parent, caregiver, or service provider of a child 2-21 years old with suspected or known disabilities? Join us for an online series that empowers parents and caregivers with essential knowledge about special education. By attending all seven training sessions in the series, you will receive a gift for your time and commitment to supporting your child’s special education journey. Note: Registration is required for each training session.

Understand parents’ critical role in the IEP process, including providing consent and actively participating in meetings and decision-making.

Post-Training Workshop after our online training, join us in person the following week for a hands-on session that helps you apply what you’ve learned through interactive activities and peer collaboration. This workshop provides practical experience to support your child’s education. Attendance at the previous online training is required, and details and registration will be provided only to attendees.
