The Sensory Play Open Gym is an hour of child-led play at June Bug's Gym, a safe and supportive environment to facilitate regulating, strengthening, and connecting social play between children of all abilities. One parent per child is welcome on the floor to encourage social play and support regulation. Each session will be hosted by either Regan Clementi, OTR/L or Nia Smith, BT to support regulation, invite novel sensory based play, and encourage social interactions. This open gym session was started with the hopes of creating a safe space for kids of all abilities to access regulating, social play as well as therapeutic swings and equipment without the therapy price tag.
Donation based.
In order to keep it accessible to all, please donate what you can ranging from $15-50 to help keep it running. Cash, check, or Zelle (otregan.clementi@gmail.com) works for donations. If you receive services from SARC, we can provide a receipt/invoice for reimbursement.
