July 9-12 at Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovery
Ready for some seriously fun summer art-making? We're transforming the museum into an underwater studio where kids can create, build, and get wonderfully messy with ocean-inspired projects.
What's Happening
Daily Art Adventures Every day brings new hands-on projects at 11 AM and 3 PM (Wednesday-Friday). Paint colorful windows that catch the light like ocean waves, turn cardboard into fantastic sea creatures, twist yarn into swimming fish, and join our giant community jellyfish creation that grows bigger each day.
Something for Everyone Drop in for one guided activity or spend the whole day exploring the museum between sessions. Perfect for kids ages 2-10 who love to make things with their hands.
Local Artist Visit Saturday features a special story time with Santa Cruz Photographer & Author Kara Capaldo, who'll share her photo-filled book about the animals that live right here in our coastal community.
